Valley Veterinary Hospital has been providing large animal services since the hospital's origin in 1941. Our large animal healthcare team provides ambulatory or in-hospital care. Dr. John Reichert, Dr. Tracie Hoggarth, Dr. Dick Roth, Dr. Tanya Borud, and Dr. Roger Jorgenson provide the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding communities with large animal care.
We offer Vaccinations, Deworming, Radiographs, Ultrasounds, Coggins, Various Surgeries, Pregnancy Checks, Dental Work, Laboratory work, and much more. We have at location facilities or we are fully equipped to travel to your farm. Our primary large animal veterinarian is Dr. John Reichert. Dr. Reichert has been with Valley Veterinary Hospital since 1976 and currently does large animal work as well as small animal. Dr. Reichert is supported by Dr. Roger Jorgenson, Dr. Tracie Hoggarth Dr. Tanya Borud, and Dr. Dick Roth. Dr. Roger Jorgenson joined Valley Veterinary Hospital in 1984. Dr. Jorgenson practices small animal medicine at both of our clinics, treats the animals at the Red River Zoo, in addition to treating large animals. Dr. Tracie Hoggarth joined the practice in 2003 as a mixed animal practitioner. Dr. Tanya Borud joined the practice in the summer of 2004. Dr. Borud practices small animal medicine at Southgate Veterinary Hospital and also does large animal work at Valley Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Roth, formerly of Casselton Veterinary Services and a regional swine consultant, has over 40 years of veterinary experience.
Our clinic is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. & Canada. AAHA-accredited hospitals adhere to the highest-quality standards available, which helps ensure the best care for your pet.
